2nd European Students Championships

Dear Sirs,

On behalf of the Organizing Committee let me cordially invite you to take part in the European Student Boxing Championship 2011 which is organized from 9 (arrival date) to 16 (departure date) in Krokus City, Moscow, Russian Federation. The ten weight categories Championship gather the sportsmen - students from the European National Boxing Federations.

University sports programs are highly promoted today in Russia both on national and international level. “The Boxing Development Centre named after Alexey Kiselev” has organized many boxing tournaments for students. The latest competition organized by the Centre was the International Boxing tournament in the memory of Alexey Kiselev in March 2011 in Elista, Russian Federation. About 100 boxers came to Elista to fight for the main trophy of the tournament.

The European Student Boxing Championship is another stage of the student boxing development. Having the experience of organizing such sport events we can assure you that the European Student Boxing Championship will be held on the high level and will stay in the memories of all participants and boxing fans as a magnificent boxing event for years to come.

The Organizing Committee of the European Student Boxing Championship 2011 is honored to provide you with free accommodation and full board for the period of the event.

The full program and Regulations of the Tournament can be found in the attached General_Regulations.doc for your kind attention. The arrival dates are 9-10 December. The technical Meeting, Referees and Team leaders Meetings will be held on 10 December. The preliminary fights will take place on 11, 12 and 13 December 2011. The semifinal fights are planned for 14 December with the finals on 15 December.
